Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
1. Introduction
SinglbasePM (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Singlbase Technologies Limited, uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you access our property management platform at pm.singlbase.com. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why we use them, and how you can control your preferences.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Together, these documents describe how we collect, use, and protect your information.
By continuing to use our platform after being presented with the cookie consent notice, you acknowledge this policy. You may update your preferences at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.
3. Cookie Categories
We classify cookies into four categories based on their purpose:
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core features such as user authentication, session security, and navigation. Without them, the services you have requested cannot be provided.
Functional
These cookies allow the platform to remember choices you make - such as your sidebar layout preference or colour theme - and provide enhanced, personalised features. Disabling them may affect your experience but will not prevent access to the platform.
Analytics
These cookies collect aggregated, anonymised information about how visitors use the platform - such as which pages are visited most often. This helps us improve performance and usability. No analytics cookies are currently active; this category is disclosed for transparency.
Marketing
These cookies track your interactions to deliver relevant advertising and measure campaign effectiveness. No marketing cookies are currently used on SinglbasePM.
5. Third-Party Cookies
When you use Google to sign in to SinglbasePM, Google may set cookies on their own domain (accounts.google.com) as part of the OAuth 2.0 authentication flow. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and are not set by or accessible to SinglbasePM.
When you subscribe or add a payment card, Paystack Payments Limited serves a secure payment iframe. Paystack may set session cookies on their own domain solely to complete the payment flow. These cookies are governed by Paystack's Privacy Policy and are not set by or accessible to SinglbasePM. Card data entered in the Paystack iframe never reaches our servers.
When Cloudflare Turnstile is active on authentication forms (sign-in, sign-up, and password reset), Cloudflare may set cookies or use browser storage to perform bot-detection checks. These are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
We do not currently use third-party advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or analytics providers that set cookies on our domain. If this changes, we will update this policy and present a new consent notice.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have several options for controlling cookies:
Our consent manager
Use the button below to open our cookie preferences panel, where you can enable or disable each non-essential category at any time. Your choice is saved immediately.
Browser settings
All modern browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their privacy settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to SinglbasePM. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions:
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Reject non-essential” in the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
7. Legal Basis
We process personal data associated with cookies under the following legal bases, in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 (DPA 2019) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Strictly necessary cookies: Legitimate interest and contractual necessity - these are required to deliver the services you have agreed to use under our Terms of Service.
- Functional cookies: Your consent - collected via our consent manager.
- Analytics cookies: Your consent - collected via our consent manager. Not currently in use.
- Marketing cookies: Your consent - collected via our consent manager. Not currently in use.
8. Retention
Cookies are retained for the durations shown in the table in Section 4. When a cookie expires or is deleted, any preference or session data it held is no longer accessible. You may delete cookies at any time via your browser settings or our consent manager.
If you clear your browser storage or use a private/incognito window, your consent preference stored in localStorage will also be cleared and the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in applicable law, or for operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Display a new consent notice on the platform where required by law.
- Notify registered account owners by email if the changes are significant.
We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where your fresh consent is required.
